HyHAUL is hosting an important industry event to demonstrate the potential of hydrogen fuel cell HGVs for fleets operating in the UK. The showcase takes place on 29 January 2025 at Millbrook, Bedford.
The industry day will provide live demonstrations including hydrogen HGV refuelling and rides to experience vehicle performance on Millbrook’s challenging Hill Route. The event also offers the opportunity to hear from industry experts including OEMs, commercial hydrogen producers, and logistics specialists. They will be sharing insights and answering questions on operating hydrogen HGVs.
This showcase supports the HyHAUL project, a bold initiative backed by government funding to accelerate the decarbonisation of the heavy haulage sector. In progressing the largest hydrogen mobility corridor in the UK, we are actively seeking haulage operators, primarily operating along the M4 corridor, to be part of the initial roll out of 30 hydrogen HGVs by 2026 – and the further ambition to deploy 300 vehicles by 2030.
